Fairhaven was started in 1962 by members of the Wisconsin Conference
of the United Church of Christ with the stated goal of providing senior adults with a safe, comfortable place to live free from the burdens of
home ownership and maintenance. This would be residency not institutionalism with the residents coming and going as they pleased.
Over the years, supportive and assisted living apartments were added
to the orginal apartments. Then a skilled nursing and rehabilitation
area was added. Finally, Hearthstone, our memory care unit, was built
to complete our campus. Fairhaven is now a Life Plan Community
offering all levels of care and services in a single location.
If your health care needs change, you'll be taken care of by the same friendly faces you've come to know and trust and still
have the same friends you've come to appreciate and enjoy.
Our newest addition is Prairie Village, a neighborhood of
custom ranch homes for adults age 55 and older. Situated in a
tranquil prairie setting, these ADA accessible homes include both
interior and exterior maintenance provided by Fairhaven.
No more shoveling or yard work. No more worrying if the
furnace will make it through winter. You're free to do the things
that are important to you. New construction is ongoing.
